Joshua Auxier is a partner in Halloran & Sage's Litigation practice group. An earnest advocate for his clients, he provides counsel and litigation services in the areas of condominium law, employment and commercial law, and professional liability. Joshua is a seasoned litigator who has handled a variety of matters for his clients.
Joshua defends condominium boards, officers and management companies in diverse claims. He has handled numerous matters including, but not limited to, election challenges, alleged director malfeasance, and claimed violations of the Condominium Act and Common Interest Ownership Act (CIOA).
Additionally, Joshua represents attorneys, accountants, actuaries, engineers, real estate agents and other professionals in complex liability claims and suits. He focuses on the intricate details of his client's cases and provides exceptional follow up and service. He has appeared before licensing bodies, as well as in state, federal and appellate court defending his clients against claims of malpractice and misrepresentation. He is a current member and former Chair of the Directors/Officers Claims Committee of the Professional Liability Defense Federation (PLDF), an association of malpractice defense professionals.
Joshua's dedication and work ethic have gained him recognition by both his clients and colleagues. He has been selected by Super Lawyers® for his accomplishments in Professional Liability: Defense and Civil Litigation: Defense since 2016, and was named a Rising Star in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In addition, he was named a New Leader in the Law by the Connecticut Law Tribune for his exceptional casework in 2012, the inaugural year of this award.
