His skill as an effective advocate and mediator is further supported by his certification by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate in 1995 and the training he has received at the Cornell Institute on Conflict Resolution in New York and the Institute for Conflict Management in California to become a certified mediator. He is a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates and the American College of Trial Attorneys. He served on the United States District Court, District of Connecticut, Federal Grievance Committee from 2011-2017.
